The Contemplative Path made Simple
Life opens in Union with God
Simple Contemplative is for Christians who long for more than belief from a distance. It is for those who sense there is a deeper, quieter, more beautiful life available in relationship with God, not as an idea to understand, but as a reality to receive.
The contemplative path is the slow practice of returning to that union. Through silence, prayer, surrender, and awareness, we learn to stop living from fear, striving, and control, and begin to abide in the love of Christ already holding us.
Here you’ll find videos, reflections, and simple practices for the journey: becoming more present to God, more grounded in love, and more fully alive in the ordinary places where grace is already waiting.

A Little of My Story
My name is Trevor. I grew up in the church, went to seminary, and have served in many different kinds of ministry over the years, from small groups and missions to preaching and pastoral leadership. I’m grateful for all of it. Those seasons shaped me, taught me, stretched me, and gave me a deep love for the Church.
And yet, even in the middle of all that, there was always an underlying hunger I couldn’t quite name. I knew theology. I knew Scripture. I knew how to serve, lead, study, teach, and keep showing up. But somewhere beneath all of that, I sensed there was a deeper way of living with God that I had not yet fully learned how to receive.
Simple Contemplative grew out of that hunger. Not as a project from someone who has arrived, but as a witness from someone still being formed. I’m learning, slowly, that the life Jesus offers is not found by performing harder, managing better, or trying to become more impressive. It is found in surrender, in presence, in being loved, and in returning again and again to the God who has been near all along.

Why Anxious Christians need the Contemplative Path
In this video, we begin a series on anxiety, abiding, and the contemplative path, not as a quick fix for stress, but as a deeper invitation into life with God.
